Freshman Housing Application
Research shows that the first two years of college are a critical time for students to develop academic and social networks in order to facilitate academic success, persistence, and satisfaction. Therefore, we are committed to providing a supportive and positive campus environment conducive to student engagement and learning for all students, particularly for our freshman and sophomores. In addition, we aim to enrich the college experience and strengthen the sense of community for all of our residents on campus.

Living Learning Programs - New!
Living Learning Programs are small communities
created within the residence halls that have a focused theme, purpose, and
programming. Students will engage in both social and educational activities
centered around their LLP's theme. Living in an LLP is a great way for students
to meet friends with common interests and engage in the campus community
quickly!
Rooted LLP
Housed
in East Regina Hall, Rooted is Edgewood College’s multicultural living-learning
program. This program is for students with the desire to live amongst a
community dedicated to creating an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming living
environment. Rooted is designed to be a home away from home for undergraduate
students who identify as a person with a marginalized identity, including but
not limited to a marginalized racial identity, an LGBTQ+ identity, or a
religious minority. Rooted is also open to students without marginalized
identities who share a passion for supporting others and becoming agents of
social change. Rooted promotes social justice through programming with emphasis
on multicultural education, identity exploration, cross-cultural communication,
and commitment to community activism. Specific events include: artistic
expression activities, educational campaigns, community games, trivia, movies,
discussions, and more. We hope that as part of the Rooted community, you will gain
an expanded worldview enabling you to foster a more just and compassionate
Edgewood College community.
